When New Canadians over the age of 18 years old become citizens they gain the right to vote in a federal election. New Canadians come from a variety of backgrounds and from countries with different political and electoral systems. Therefore, making broad statements about this group of electors is difficult.

Join us for this course as we celebrate the decision you made of citizenship, and the inherent right and responsibility you have to participate in our democratic processes.
