Course Description

The Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Ground course is a comprehensive training program designed to educate individuals who are involved in the transportation of dangerous goods by ground.

The course covers the regulations and guidelines for the safe handling, shipping, and transporting of dangerous goods in Canada. Participants will learn to understand the key concepts of TDG regulations and their significance, identify and classify dangerous goods according to TDG regulations, properly label, mark, and placard containers and vehicles carrying dangerous goods, comprehend the requirements for safe loading, unloading, and securing of dangerous goods, demonstrate knowledge of documentation, reporting, and emergency response procedures, navigate through the regulatory framework of TDG transportation and successfully pass the Transport Canada TDG Ground Certification Exam.

The course is designed to help participants understand their responsibilities as shippers, handlers, and carriers of dangerous goods and ensure that they can transport these goods safely and in compliance with Canadian regulations.

NOTE: 10 participants required for course at any given time (minimum and maximum attendance)
