Course Description

The Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Air/IATA course is a comprehensive training program designed to educate individuals who are involved in the transportation of dangerous goods by air.

The course covers the regulations and guidelines for the safe handling, shipping, and transporting of dangerous goods in Canada. Participants will learn to understand the regulatory framework governing the transportation of dangerous goods by air, identify and classify medical gases, biomedical waste, and lab samples; package, label, and document dangerous goods according to regulations; implement proper handling, loading, and stowage procedures for safe transportation; comply with Section 12 requirements, addressing air operator’s responsibilities.

The course is designed to help participants understand their responsibilities as shippers, handlers, and carriers of dangerous goods and ensure that they can transport these goods safely and in compliance with Canadian regulations.

NOTE: 10 participants required for course at any given time (minimum and maximum attendance)
