Course Description

This course is an introduction to Occupational Health and Safety for the establishment and operations of a Joint OH&S Committee in your workplace.

This course reviews the fundamentals and basic principles of health and safety practices. Part 1 of this training concerns all workers, regardless of the industry in which you work in.

In this course you will learn:

  1. What a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee is
  2. What the responsibilities and duties are of a Joint OH&S Committee
  3. The regulations for its Certified Members
