Course Description

In this course we will review the latest research on fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) with a view to understanding the impact of alcohol on the developing brain of a fetus; the primary and secondary effects and the diagnostic criteria for youth and adults.

We also explore the prevalence of FASD among indigenous populations and community voices on the impact of alcohol and approaches to wellness.
